International Day of Peace

Sept. 21st,2008 will mark the 26th anniversary of International Peace Day [IPD]. This year thousands of pro-peace organizations, congregations, communities, governments and individuals across the world will observe PEACE Day in many ways.

We shall be submitting to our Governor for her signature and issuance consideration a Peace Day Proclamation. This document shall be sent to the Governor on Sept. 5th, along with the list of endorsers. Please consider adding your group, organization, business and/or personal endorsement to this pro-peace observance. The only information on the list of endorsers will be Name/Organization and City. It shall not be used for any other purpose.
